LTC Christopher E. Everett

Professor of Military Science (PMS)

LTC Christopher E. Everett was born and raised in the heart of Orlando, Florida. LTC Everett started his military journey in 1997 by receiving an Army ROTC scholarship to Florida A & M University. He graduated in 2004 as the first simultaneous Doctorate of Pharmacy candidate and AROTC graduate. He has provided pharmaceutical logistics operations for more than 13 countries, developed and reviewed 75 cooperative research agreements and actively led more than 20 pharmacies. LTC Everett has always prided himself in being involved in the community and is a member of multiple organizations including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and National Society of Pershing Rifles.

MSG Nathan Miller

Senior Military Instructor (SMI)

MSG Nathan Miller enlisted in the Army as a medic in 2002. MSG Miller attended advanced training at the US Army JFK Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS) in 2007.Upon graduation, he was assigned to a US Army Special Operations Command unit as a Medical Sergeant deploying in support of US Central Command, US Northern Command and US Southern Command theater objectives. In 2019, MSG Miller was selected and assigned as an instructor at the Special Operations Center of Excellence where he trained over 600 Army officers in Special Operations doctrine, planning and tactics.

MAJ Carlos Bates

Assistant PMS / Executive Officer

MAJ Carlos Bates was born and raised in Florida and entered the military by joining the Florida National Guard in 2003 serving as a Chemical, Explosive, Radiological and Nuclear Specialist. He graduated from Florida A & M University in 2009 and was a member of the AROTC “Rattler Battalion” as a Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP) cadet. MAJ Bates holds his Bachelors degree in Political Science and Masters of Military Operational Art and Science.

CPT Erica Burgess

Assistant PMS 

Captain Erica Burgess commissioned as a Quartermaster Officer in 2013 from the Reserve Officer Training Corp (ROTC) at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Policy. Since August of 2021, she has been a part of the Florida A&M University as an Instructor for Military Science. CPT Burgess is attending the Florida Institute of Technology for a Graduate degree in Logistics Management of Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief.

SFC Victoria Bain

Military Instructor

 Sergeant First Class (SFC) Victoria Bain first joined the US Army in 2006. She attended Basic and Advanced Individual training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO graduating with the Military Occupation Specialty of 74D, Chemical Operations Specialist. SFC Bain was assigned at the Florida A&M University as an Instructor for Military Science in December 2019. SFC Bain is currently attending Purdue University Global for an Associate in Criminal Justice Science and plans to achieve a Bachelors in Forensic Psychology Science.
